Backing Board.

Hi

Does anyone have any tips on what to use as backing board when mounting prints for competitions etc.? In the past I have used an additional sheet of mountboard cut to the same size as the front mount but this works out quite expensive.

Thanks for the link Mike. I ordered some from them on a 5 to 6 working day delivery time (their cheapest option). It arrived in 2 days. Excellent service, and the backing board was exactly what I was looking for.

I use the self adhesive boards - they are really handy and not too expensive. Our club buys them in wholesale at I think just over £1 each and sell them on for £1.25.

Edit: Larson Juhl Fastmount boards like these.

I use Cotswold mounts, standard mounts I cut myself for the mount, and they also sell backing board which is considerably cheaper.
