Hi Guys,
I have a pair of Bowens 400 studio flash units as my main lighting in the home studio and I was using my Canon 430EXII to light the white backdrop by placing it to the rear of the model and triggering using wireless to avoid having to hide trigger cables.
Anyway, the one limitation to that setup is that it requires batteries to be changed part way through a shoot and also it the main limiting factor on the shoot rate because of flash recycling times as batteries start to deplete.
I am therefore thing I should buy something like a 200w studio light to light the backdrop from the side.
Question: will one unit be sufficient or do I need one on each side or a single higher power unit?
Any recommendations welcome.
M.
