Ok, I admit I havent even started looking yet but, I thought Id run it by the guys in the know first.
Im looking to buy a backdrop, pref sky & clouds for a head & shoulder shot (we wont call them portraits yet, lol!)
They dont have to be 'quality' its just for a play really.
Any ideas how much I would expect to pay, where I should start looking, or backdrop substitute ideas, would be greatly appreciated.

The occasional portrait shot I've done in the past, I just photoshop a background in after - usually this one:

Just open the curtains!

Sorry, someone had to say it, lol
:D

GFK ... Im a fairly new Photochopper (read that on here somewhere the other day & love it .. its soo me!)
Is there a tutorial anywhere on adding backgrounds in PS. Ive never tried it but as I want a specific background for a one-off group of shots, I guess this maybe the best option.

I'd have a look at this thread and too make life easier for yourself take the photos of people standing in front of as blank a background as possible to give you more contrast to work with. So a white sheet maybe, as long as they're not wearing white of course.

Hi, you can give these a try. Not used them myself, but they seem to have a lot to choose from.
