I have notice in quite a few floor shots I have the horrible live were my BG meets the floor and end up with a 'shadow' style line.

Any tips on how to get rid of this pre processing and post processing.

Thanks

you shooting white, grey or coloured backgrounds? cloth, paper or vinyl?

Make the curve shallow enough and light it properly and shouldn't be an issue with white...

white vinyl

Its ok when OE but when I just use it as a 'normal' backdrop that when it goes a bit strange

I have been thinking about setting up my 3rd light quite high pointing down toward that area.....?

You would probably still get the line unless you overexpose it and also have the same output as your bg lights. Photographing it at correct exposure will give you exactly what is there, a join!
