Backdrop help please URGENT

Hi all, my first thread so be gentle please.

I normally use 2.72mtr artic white paper background etc, however I no longer have a car long enough to use this portably.
I can't afford the lastolite hi lights stuff etc, so looking for advice on a cloth cheap background to use for the next 3 weeks.

I have a background tripod/crossbar system but just a bit worried about going for cloth and creases etc

Looking for some urgent good advice if anyone cares to lend any words

I use something like this:

Steam or iron the fold creases then just screw it up and store in a pillow case size bag. When you hang it tighten by using these:

Any crease that are still visable will be burnt out by your background lights. Storage and transport is then minimal.

When I had a smaller car I used to saw about a foot off of the 9ft colorama's to fit them in - job done.

I agree with Graham above, exactly what I did when not using paper, you can even put little eyelets in teh side and then bungee rope around your stands to keep it nice and taught - if you are having trouble clamping

Do what the plumbers do and put some tubing on a roof rack.
