Back up and restore

After uninstalling Acronis Win7 back up and restore no longer works
Any ideas how to fix this ?
Note that i'm no computer wizard

"Control Panel" - "Backup/Restore" no worky. When i click on it nothing happens.

The icon is there but does nothing, had a google and lots of issues reported after doing the uninstalling of Acronis but was hoping you guys could explain the fix in plain English.

Checked the services and all the relevant ones are set too auto.

They may be set to Auto, but are the services actually shown as running?

Found the fix and it worked just in case anyone else ever has this issue
