Hi chaps - following on from another thread where I was given an enormous amount of help for my first try-out with my Speedlite I have been playing/experimenting at home before the 'favour' job I'm doing tomorrow ... it may be a freebie but I'd like to try my best and a good opportunity for me to try and learn a little more about my kit. So I've been wandering around the house with my 24-105 and Speedlite set on bounce and TTL and have been using 'spot' metering but I have always used the 'back button auto focus technique ... does this affect the focus when using a speedlite as several of the 'distant' shots I've taken (15 feet) have been soft ... this could well be down to my technique ... but then I don't have a technique yet ... any comments please ? - Roger
