A couple of days ago I posted about my daughter going into Labour (not the Political Party).... After a period of approc 30 hours , a few details that i won't post here do to the gory nature and a crash team (thankfully not needed). We have a new Grandson. Mum and Baby doing well after the wonderful care at Northwick Park Hospital from Doctors, nurses and the wonderful mid wife that took their hand and guided them through the process and was on hand at all times to assist through the difficult birth. I really owe them a debt which I will never be able to repay.

Congratulations!!!! what a real wonderful Christmas present! Very happy to hear Mum doing well and little one is B E A utifull.....

30 hours! Blimey, glad all is well now and congratulations. Our first was 24 hours and I was shattered, so I don't know how my wife coped! I managed to hold our son for all of about 45 seconds before handing him back to my wife as I needed to sit down before passing out...next one due in 6 weeks....

we went through a horfic time with our 1st my wife lost a lot of blood and had to have a transfusion due to some gory stuff lol but the blood had to come from 3 different hospitals due to her blood type

our second i thought was going the same way but thank god it didn't 100 % respect to the mid wives and the job they do years ago my wife would not be here simple as

the best part was our 1st midwife we had was also the person who come on the late shift and looked after my wife after our second was delivered because of the close relationship we had with here the other midwife sensed it and made sure she looked after my wife again not that it was really needed
