hi all i have a photoshoot with a mum and baby (favour to a friend :) ) and as i dont have kids i dont know what poses to suggest?

indoor/outdoor?

baby is a couple of months oldish .....

does anyone have baby pics they could show me or suggest me some poses?!

thanks in advance :)

My sister is expected to give birth in about 5-6 weeks so I'm interested in learning this stuff at the mo.
Just wish I could understand the advice lol.

try positioning it in the bin
joking
just dont touch its head

If possible, baby on front pushing themselves up, or with head tilted (the b&w pic on my homepage is around 3 months). They will often need support so if mum sits on a stool, baby on knee facing mum and you behind mums shoulder, with a plain background. Sitting propped up in a chair tends not to be too flattering.

thanks all :)

I dont have kids so i dont actually know much about them lol!!!

I used to babysit a well baby!! (from 3 weeks old) and was terrified of dropping her etc  luckily mum will be holiding him!!

hes a little sweetie so really want to get these photos lovely for her :)

i dont have a lot of baby shots...most have been deleted as no use at all...blur etc

i found that if you dont set the bar too high you will get some nice shots
they are damn fast movers and mood swings in and instant

but to top it all off if you get a winner...it really is timeless

best of luck

thanks :)

luck is what i need  but im really looking forward to it.....

nice day as well and ew have use of her garden and house (no doubt i will be outside for most :) )

I have some baby shots here- http://myfirstphotos.co.uk/wp/?page_id=7 They were taken on Monday & Wednesday this week. One of the babies was 8 days old, the other 2 weeks old.

stunning pictures

i had planned to suggest....

towel - baby looking towards me
baby in mums arms - photos of them together then one me shooting over her shoulder....
use the settee, any props etc? althougha young baby is unlikely to be able to hold anything

any feet/little hand shots i can get in too

shooting in a garden and her house too :)

realyl looking forward to it :)
