I must say this is a fantastic site such great advice I have learnt so much just by lurking!!:
anyway I need some advice a friend of mine has asked me to take some photos of her 5 week old baby, some on her own, some with her granparents and a few with her parents, she has seen the work I have done and it tends to be pretty candid, its very rare that I pose people so i dont think she is expecting a studio set up!! I have taken portraits before but this will be my first job as such as I am being payed!!!! the problem is the shoot is happening in her house so not to sure about day light avalibiltiy I am taking my canon 5d and canon 400d lens 85mm f1.8 50mm f1.4 canon 24-105L IS a 580ex speedlite (although only just arrived today so have no idea about that yet!!) a 5 in 1 reflector and some black material-I thought I could lay the baby in it for the single shots, but am also considering a white towel in an empty white bath and putting the baby in as the I have read that this gives great results!?
I could really do with some advice or tips of any kind as I dont want to mess this up should I have some lights? I have only ever worked with natural lighting but I do have a bowen studio kit but dont want to lug that about! been considering a softbox or maybe the diy bowl softbox for my speedlite!
any advice or tip HUGELY appreciated
