Incorrect. Baby Anya was clearly 3 days late ;)

Congrats, enjoy the baby stage because once they get to 2 they're a right royal PITA.

(he says whisls having shins kicked, books thrown at head and TV, and trying to stop all the blinds being torn down).

Congrats Rich :clap: Best wishes to all of you  It is certainly the best feeling in the world for any father. To be honest I still do not know why the women kick up such a fuss about this child birth thing  :suspect::suspect:

(See comment above) ooooops....... I may be getting one of them if our paths ever cross :))

Thanks for the congrats, we're both made up and can't stop smiling.
We've loved the name Anya for sooooo long, it's amazing to be able to call our little baby girl it after all this time (didn't know we were having a girl btw, so she could have been an Archie).

Firstly, many thanks.

9 weeks on from you and I have to say, most of it's been a delight. It's a dramatic change, and in no time at all you'll wonder what life without her was like.

What I will say is make the most of every minute as the old cliché of "They grow up so fast" is so true, we've already got a box of clothes that don't fit him

You also become quite good at functioning on little sleep and doing things without opening your eyes

Enjoy!

I had our 2nd (and last) 8 weeks ago. They do grow so fast. She was born 6lb 4oz and fitted tiny baby clothes but is now growing out of 0-3 months already.

I'm looking forward to every single second of it :)

Thanks for the heads up :)

Big congratulations from me too, I'm also a new first time dad, we had a baby boy born 2 weeks ago today, 10th Sept. Even 2 weeks in we can see a big change in him, I'm trying to take 1 shot a day of him as something to look back at in years to come. Hopefully if we can get over the next 18 years ok, uhat will be the worst of It done!

Congrats  - personally I found the opposite - first 6 months tough but just gets better all the time after that as your child can interact with you more.

Certainly get cheekier, and yes various limbs may get bashed but it's generally good fun + you can sleep more.

That's right phil, I remember you saying in a thread that you were a proud daddy. Congrats.
I'm doing exactly the same regarding a photo a day. Whether it's on my phone or dslr, I'm gonna get at least 1 shot a day.
How's the first 2 weeks been for ya?

I can imagine all the above being true. Can't wait till I can interact more with Anya :)
