Hi all!
took some snaps of my daughters friends baby for her and this is the one i like the best.
However can you offer any advice on improvement and how would i be sure to get the colour right.
I ask this as i sent it off to photo box for a trial print and as usual it comes back darker. Not anything mum would notice but i can see it it is a little more magenta looking than I would like.
I have use the spot tool in photoshop to remove baby acne and a few dry skin flakes but any other advice would be great.

Owen and Gary thank you for taking the time to look and for your very welcome advice :)

Gary I think it does look a lot better can I ask what steps you took to get it this way?

Hi Cathy, that is a lovely shot as it is, the whites are lovely and white without being blown, I will agree that there is possibly a tad too much red in the skin (just makes her look a healthy glowing baby though).

I had an edit of your shot, and just took the saturation of the red down by 25, added a blur layer (4 pixels gaussian) and then painted back the hair, eyes, nose, mouth and sheet over the body to full sharpness... Then, I couldn;t help myself and added a lightening vignette to it. :)

Pretty similar to what Gary has done above. (y)

Hi Cathy. I run the coffee shop powder room action on the baby.Only used certain layers, erase or add to masks where you want it to show. I also added a warm filter adjustment layer @ low opacity as it looked a bit cool on the baby on my pc.
Just played really.
Google it it's free__Gaz
