Hi,

Still learning photography and footering about in LR with a bit of trial & error for B&W - Is there any recommended B&W packages?
I know of DXO film and that's about it.

Topaz Labs do one and there is Silver Efex in the Nik suite.

I use and love the Silver Efex in the Nik collection: https://www.google.com/nikcollection/ (Google bought it). You can get a free 30 day trial of it and probably of the Topaz suite too, why not give them all a try?

I have both the Topaz and NIK programs and there is very little to choose between them.

However, having said that, most of my B&W conversions are done with NIK SilverEFX.
