Hi there. I never used B/W film in the past as for me it was too expensive too get developed but now that im all digital i have found a love for it. I have bought a cokin 001 Yellow & 003 Red too have a little play around with but so far i am finding that the red filter dose not seem as sharp as i would have thought could this be due too the filter being of poor quality or the darkness of the filter (or the photographer being of poor quality
) the yellow filter dose seem a bit sharper. I know you can turn the camera too B/W and add a colour filter in camera but as i shoot RAW the camera will always record the raw colour image i also know the fillters in photoshop can be add and the intensity of each colour can be adgusted too sute but i feel its better too get the filter infront of the lens and get the effect at the start before converting too B/W Fair enough the colour image is now almost usless apart from B/W bat if you are shooting with that in mind what the hey. I would like too use these filters in portrait work any advice on using them would be great fully reseved. when i get the chance i will upload a couple of the images they ar not good but just test shots. As i tend too go on a bit you can WAKE UP now
