Just this moment stepped outside for a smoke. Our house overlooks a small valley, that deep blue sky with white fluffy clouds sets a perfect backdrop. What appears from the left of me at nearly eye level and about 200 feet away? Yep the Arrows in tight formation and just ticking over. It took my brain about 2 seconds to calculate it was not possible to run into the house, grab camera, switch on, adjust iso and exposure compensation, shutter speed and fire. Them little pocket sized digital camera`s have got their use`s I reckon

I have had this all day mate but they are just a bit too far away for my 500mm apart from the bloody Typhoon that took some tiles away with it but like you say too late to do anything about it so just watch

You got any brief what time they are flying ? According to their schedule they were at Waddo today, flying at Goodwood on Sunday and also at Waddo on Sunday. Me thinks I might get a glimpse of them again if they take the same flight path

I used to be a hang glider pilot and I was doing a cross country from Dereham [norfolk] flying north. I was in open country side at about 3000' when the Arrows flew underneath me at around 2000'. As they went under me they put their coloured smoke on, unfortunately I had no camera but the memory will remain as a very special moment. How many people get their own 'hello' from the Arrows!
Later made a complete cock of my landing in a field of pigs, stalled at 10' and hit heavy but it was worth it!

Well if the Arrows are scheduled for around 1.30, I just need to know what time they do the fly by at Goodwood, find out the distance between Goodwood and Waddington, find out roughly what speed they will fly back at, a quick mathematical equation should tell me what time to be out with my camera
