Yes
Anyone use them?
I am very impressed with their website, and they look to be a great quality I think.
But before spending that kinda money I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they used them, and any pros/cons they have found, if so.

I'm looking at possibly both the Book Bound and Book Bound EX ranges.

Cheeeeers

Haven't ordered one yet but have had a couple in my hands. Both superb quality - Leather bound 50 page portfolio size and a hard book, both wrap around . Looked well worth the money. I'm still waiting to get a screen sorted and calibrated before I spend someone elses money on one!

Thats good to know. Oh, yes, calibrated screen might be a good idea, hmmm.

I'll be buying at least 1 before anyone else gets hold of them 1. for sample 2. portfolio use.

Thanks for your input/take

Yep, I use AsukaBooks, mainly on my portraits, and they're good quality, good customer service. I am about to order a sample of the new Neo book - lay flat books that are litho print so you don't get the pink or blue line that you get on all the photo paper books.

I used to use Asuka books quite a bit, mainly the EX books.

Bought them through everleaf in the UK and even though they have now set up a dedicated website under the Asuka brand its still the same company and main man in charge, Andrew Moorcroft.

Andrew is a top bloke and customer service from them was always top notch.

Ive not ordered any from them in a while now as I kinda went off them a bit for wedding albums and now tend to do graphi for digital books if thats what clients want as I prefer the thicker pages as well as Queensberry albums for our higher end packages.

Definitely one of the best books out there if you are after that sort of thing though.

Nick, have you seen their new stuff? I was really impressed with it, and with the Neo you get the thicker pages. Far nicer than the Graphi IMHO

No I haven't, I am rather ashamed to say that I didn't get to visit their stand, I used to do quite a bit of business with them so Andrew had invited me to help man the stand for a day but after doing the 4 days at the NEC wedding show just before focus and all the follow up afterward I just didn't have time and felt a little guilty as a result.

I always enjoyed dealing with Andrew more than Graphi though so thanks for the tip Zoe I will give them a looksie.

Thanks for the feedback guys, they're sounding to be as good a company as I thought they might be, I do love the way they present the products etc. Very nice standard and professional looking!
