Incase you have not guessed due to the completely unoriginal username im Sam, ive been dabbling (badly) in photography for the last few years with a Kodak compact and a Fuji finepix s5600 (i think - its one of those bridge cameras) with video being taken care of by a Sony mini-dv camera and i have been publishing all the shots on my website - www.samuelellis.co.uk (just a word for people who are going to go on there I do no real editing to my photos at all - All i do is blank numberplates at car shows so what you see is what has come out of the camera)
As you can see from the link im not what you would call good but in my defense most of the shots i take are just simple snapshots and sometimes im in sound-off cars that are so loud I cant even focus (dont belive me? look at some of my videos to see what ii does to my hair and sometimes the autofocus on the video camera)
However now i have bought my first SLR - a canon 450D with a few lenses so i figured i may as well join up and learn how to use the thing properly
