just been reading the sun and a bloke bought grand theft auto and found extasy pills in side the case which he bought used from gamestation now yes every one goes well thats not good at all i agree up untill this point

he bought the game for his son a 12 yr old lad now this game is rated 18 so he has just broke the law and is complaining about a company who sold him a game with drugs in

he can be prosocuted for buying it for his son is he stupid or what

im wondering if he has a leg to stand on with him buying a game for a under age person

I don't think he's broken any law. It's illegal to sell to an under 18, but I believe it's a parents choice as to whether he lets his children watch / play underage. I may be wrong there, but that's what I understand.

How did he know they were Es? I don't think I would...

a def no on the e's and i do belive it comes under the same law for buying for underage children as its not suitable for them otherwise it would be rate 12

could be wrong myself but i thought it went under that type of law

A quick google is inconclusive. The BBFC says "No-one younger than 18 may see an ‘18’ film in a cinema. No-one younger than 18 may rent or buy an ‘18’ rated video." which is the same for a game that's BBFC certified like GTA, but it makes no mention of buying for a minor.
