Awesome Ken Block's driving video

Back in the 70's a mate of mine had a Ford Anglia that could do that ... mind you it was set up for Jallopy racing, 1200cc stripped, balanced and strapped engine, Reece Fish carb, and most importantly a welded rear diff :D

while the guy has got skill, its getting a little boring the whole "look i can powerslide" thing.

This is true, I enjoyed the little things they added to keep it interesting such as the the missing link on the ladder!

I bet that was a sight!

Sorry ....but i find this so boring ,and i do not rate Ken Block either

Unfortunately not his best, looks as if it was only made to advertise and shows too much of the practice tyre tracks and editing. Wish my wife's Fiesta was as good as his though.

not the quickest way of going round a course but the man has some fantastic car control.

5,024,690 people have watched this so his sponsors are loving this - expect a few more....

HEs got loads of videos, also was on top gear not so long ago..

Good stunt driver, wish he'd have stayed out of rally :(

In that case he's loving it himself. He's a co-owner of DC Shoes.
If I'm not mistaken, a Gymkhana is not a conventional rally stage, it is similar to an auto test stage where a competitor has to perform certain things with the car within the course, hence the powerslides, donuts etc. Wiping out step ladders and powerslides around someone in a gorilla suit on a sedgeway is just Ken, hooning added purely for effect.

He's in the wrc. Has been for a good couple of years.

I know, I meant he's been rallying for a few years now (in America) prior to entering the WRC.

Ahh, that I didn't know. I'm just not too fond of his driving style, there's no real finesse about how he drives.

Personally I like the older/first 2 videos the best. Just more if the same stuff tbh

Definitely my least favourite of the lot but still cool none the less!

actually from a marketing point of view he is exactly what the WRC needed, i bet names like Ken Block and Kimi Raikonnen are much more household names than anyone else in the WRC and therefore they are vital to a sport trying to rebuild its reputation..... but then so was keeping it free to air so it can build a fanbase but selling the rights to ESPN put pay to that! :'(

I'd heard of kimi before I got into rally. I only heard about ken when he came to the sport. I dislike that most motorsport is going to pay per view. I was distressed and ****ed off when the BBC sold off half of the F1! That's not a big problem though, I'll just watch it on german tv at my fiancees parents(they get german freesat)

I like him! immense driver, plus i love the filmography in these clips. I got some of his DC hightop and they are immence also!!

Excellent editing and self promotion as per usual, but otherwise than it's all pretty boring... but having said that I don't class my self as being of the playstation generation.

What would would be impressive is if he drove this on-sight, in one take, without the need to have numerous runs at each turn to 'get it right'.

Hows this for a single take then.

Although he has the time and money to do plenty of takes he's an average rally driver at best.

Fixed.

I'm sure any of the big five (Citroen works, Ford works, Solberg) could do it in their sleep. They'd probably hit the break-apart wall properly aswell instead of taking out some of the static wall with the back of the car.

There are some lads near me who can drive like that, oh no sorry, they THINK they can drive like that! damn it winds me up, what is it about sitting outside your house in a celica and revving the ass off your car that is cool? please can someone answer that, i would ask the bloke himself but im not sure that his limited intelligence would be able to cope with being asked a question.

Absolutely nothing compares to climb dance.. it's a totally different league
