An award-winning photograph of antelope crossing a Tibetan plateau near a Chinese high-speed train is in fact a doctored image, according to a story in the The Wall Street Journal.

In Mao's days they would have been running towards the train welcoming it enthusiastically as a heroic achievement of the worker's paradise.
