Awaiting the Shopping

One of the things I like about going shopping is seeing any special offers available. Not so much the usual BOGOFs etc but the very short dated stuff. We also tend to stock up on BOGOFs etc when they occur on stuff we usually buy, sometimes clearing the shelf if it's a particularly good deal! I also like being able to select my own meat, fruit and veg, usually for ease of peeling (in the case of spuds and the like) rather than for aesthetic reasons and to reduce the amount of fat on meat. TBH, we usually but F&V from Lidl who don't seem to have a delivery service!

yeah bags are for fresh, freezer, cupboard, non food etc... delivery charges depend on time/day but usually 49p or 99p, you can also help CF by choosing a slot with a green van symbol meaning they already have deliveries booked in your area for that time.

Tesco also do the different coloured bags although you can choose to have no bags. Delivery sounds very reasonable with Ocado.

Doesn't some Facebook insult to the local chavs get them delivering Lidl fruit and veg to your front door? ... and windows!

Chavs get stopped at the bottom of the hill! Don't do Farcebook or t***ter but can imagine that people get rather het up about things on there... Actually, I had completely forgotten that we've been having Abel & Cole deliver some very nice F&V for a couple of weeks. Had a delicious little pumpkin last night - sweet as a nut, as were the carrots. Unlike a few years back when a local firm used to deliver rather expensive compost. OK, it had been a really bad summer but you shouldn't be delivering soggy brown lettuce...
