Why can,t we have animated gifs,is it possible?.:):D
 
God no! animated gifs are ok for about 2 seconds but to have them in your face when you're trying to read a thread gets very annoying very quickly.
 
Well maybe, maybe not,i suppose it is a personal thing.

Got to agree, a page full of dancing avatars would do my nut in :cautious:

Yeah....works when clicked, but not when sitting in a normal thread view.

Apparently they are quite resource hungry, it goes back to the early days when TP was on limited band width with Vb.
And has remained ever since.

Oops :) surely the animation takes place client side, and the size limit is dictated by the upload file size limit.

Guess I better change mine :)

It doesn't show on the forum, the software takes it out ( by the looks of things)
As its not animated on the forum, no problem :thumbs:

Oh I have one for that, but some other mod will censor it if I post it :D

How about, to satisfy people's curiosity, the image is posted for 10 minutes then removed before any kiddies see it?

For some, maybe, although in my case, the carrier medium is present but there's no data being carried!
