Do all you landscape photographers, when taking photos of trees in their autumn colours do you use any filters?

I was looking at either a coral filter or warmup filter. Is it worth purchasing one of these filters or is it best left to use the photo filters in photoshop?

Is there any other kit that may be of use during this period?

Warm up and such can be done in PS. I'd use an ND grad simply to bring out more detail in the sky.

A Camera................. and warm clothes! ;)

If I must be serious then I suppose, like Pete, ND filters are a must as is a tripod for longer exposures.

I've seen a lot of forestry/wood land photos where the scene is back lit. This means looking into the sun ( I've been told theres one about ) how do you stop lens flair, etc from happening. Do you just use a nd filter to reduce the flair? Or am I missing something.

Sorry about the silly questions, but I have to learn some how. :thumbs:
 
Flare is mainly reduced by a lens hood although ND Grads may do it slightly....
