Hi Guys

I was thinking of going to the Autumn air show at Duxford this weekend.

Anyone been before, its it a good show

Were is the best blace to stand, the longest lens I have is 300mm (450 on digital).

Do these shows get packed, the last one I went to was Farnborough in the early 80,s and it was packed shoulder to shoulder are these shows like that nowdays.

Thanks for any advice

Paul

I'll probably be going. I will try to get there early to get a good place at the front. I have a 300mm lens on a 450D aswell, but it should be ok as the planes do fly pretty close.

However, if you don't get to the front, there are little (and I mean little :P) hills around the main tarmac that will give you a better vantage point. Yes, this will be crowded.

Normally is a good show... head for the grassy knowle by the Tank Museum normally the best place..

it sounds like it will be quite good as theres a few jets going and the usual ww2 stuff. go right to the top near the land warfare, it wasnt so busy at the sept show at that end with some spaces by rails and on the hill.

sadly i cant go as im seeing Lee Evans so he better be funny.

Hope weather stays good for you, have fun

Anywhere at Duxford with 300mm will get you shots
