auto cropping in photoshop to get correct size?

hello,

i have photoshgop and would like to know how i can
crop a photo to say 8x6 or 10x8 size?

as in manual crop i could get any size

Use the crop tool from the toolbar and set it to whatever your size reqired is, then drag across your image as far as it will go (drag diagonaly from top left to bottom right) it will then have a crop at your selected size.

Now you can move the crop around the frame to suit your image, then click the tick on the top menu bar and bob's your uncle.

When you select the crop tool the options box is visible at the top. Select one of the preset sizes or type new ones in the boxes. To swap the sizes 8"x10" to 10"x8" click the double arrows
