Is there a way to auto create watermarks for each photo?
I've been doing it manually for each photo, and it gets tiring. Surely, there's an easier way for this.
 
theres a few threads on this already, but just to sum it up briefly you record the process of applying the watermark as an action in photoshop (assumng that you have it), and then automate the action on a batch of photos.
 
Go onto Russell Browns website, about 3/4 of the way down is a tutorial called digital branding (something like that) with a cowboy picture that'll tell you how to make an action to do it.
It's too much to write out and post here.
 
Download 'Porta' make a gallery, add the watermark in the extra album settings, use the files without the album (in medium folder)

Faststone Image viewer, its free and you can add text and images as watermarks in batch along with a whole load of other stuff... Best bit of free software I've seen for ages.

If you're looking to generate web galleries from them, you could have a look at Light Blue: Photo. It's a studio management system (so lets you keep track of shoots, contacts, orders, payments and expenditure); part of what it does is generate web galleries with watermarked images. You can even link them to PayPal if you want to take orders online.

Alternatively, you can just use it to generate watermarked images if you want to use your current hosting provider.

Watermark, rezise, border, rename etc etc all in one go.
