Aurora

There's a good chance of seeing an aurora tonight, so if you are located close enough to the poles have your camera ready.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll get to see it from my location.

You can get aurora alerts by email if you like. http://www.dcs.lancs.ac.uk/iono/aurorawatch/

The only problem I found was that the mails tended to arrive 12 hours too late.

Here's another good site for Auroras... a bit on the scientific side but understandable.

I use it often & is pretty accurate...
