Aurora forcast for tomorrow 21/12/14

A heads up that there is a KP6 level aurora forecast to be visible from the North of the UK tomorrow night as far South as the North of England and Northern Ireland. That of course will only happen if the bloody weather cooperates, best of luck to you if you're in that part of the country.

Cheers Andy, that's a cracking web site, added to bookmarks ........although I have to confess to not understanding a lot of it. I'm guessing the KP numbers are for the section they're in and not for the section below the line they're sat on in other words, a KP6 means they are visible down to around the Scottish borders ?

Yes that's right it should be visible from around the Scottish boarder but remember it's only a forecast so it could be further South or North of there.
