attaching gels

how do you go about attaching gels to reflector grid or barndoors or snoots, I dont want to have to cut a different one for each, it would be good to just clip them in front.

forgot to say thanks guys, cheap and easy is how I like it.

do you have to worry about keeping the gels flat, ie if I use a large sheet and curve it around a barn door am I going to be spreading the light?

Also if I put it in front of say a grid that is pointing down at and angle but I hang it so that the sheet is hanging down totally straight will the effect the direction of the light?

couple of bulldog clips - some lights have clips built into the barn door - e.g. redheads

No and no, or at least not to any measurable effect.
Don't forget that gels can be doubled or combined to gain different effects
