Attaching a tripod to a Mini Trekker!

Alright I give up whats the best way to attach a Tripod to this backpack I have a Manfotto 190XB and I can't seem to find a decent way to attach it where it feels secure, the elastic straps seem a bit naff to be honest, has anyone replaced theirs with something else? anyway what do you suggest anyone got any piccys with theirs attached.
 
I use a Mini-Trekker and have an 055 which is heavier than the 190 and find it more than secure.

I take it you are putting the feet of the tripod in the provided pocket which drops down for this very reason.

Yes but I didn't seem to be able to get it tight enough in the strap do you use the top elastic strap aswell near the handle? I probably just need to faff with it a bit more!:D

Yeah, use both straps. My 055xprob is fine on my mini-trekker, all be it very very heavy.
 
I must learn to mess with things more I've got it attached, it seems alot better using the top strap aswell. It may take a little getting used to the the extra weight but its got to be better than carrying 2 bags though! cheers :thumbs:
