A couple of weeks ago I decided to invest in one of these. I have a bowens travelpak for when I need lots of power so I wanted a lighter, more portable solution for wedding and some location work. I'm not worried about overpowering the sun with it.
Anyway, there is an awful lot to like with these. Its well built, and the bare bulb design evenly fills my 2m stripbox. Recycle time is good and on the whole the thing is well built. I've few complaints about it and I'm pretty happy.
The few niggles -
1. I wish there was a cap supplied for when the bulb is fitted. I'm not a fan of removing it every shoot (although its easy to do so) and leaving it on will break it.
2. Sync speeds. Its not a biggie, but even in high speed sync more I get significant light fall of above 1/500 and its completely gone by 1/2000.
3. Nothing to do with Lencarta, but I don't think the currently available s-fit adaptors are great with heavy modifiers. I have a calumet one and it feels very heath robinson with bigger modifiers. I know hardly Lencarta's fault but left me think 'Oh'
All in all they are tiny niggles and I'm well pleased
