Atmospheric Places

Right, I am based int he UK and am doing an art course. I am on my final project and I will be taking various photos of landscapes, townscapes, interior of buildings etc. I am focusing on areas that create an atmosphere in a photo, using the lighting in the scene, whether it is spooky, bright and cheerful etc. Anyway, I am stuck for places to go visit and photograph so if anyone has any ideas? I am looking for places such as industrial estates, abandoned, derelict buildings, such as hospitals etc. If anyone can let me know a specific site or place to go that'd be cool.

Do a search on these and other forums/google for urban exploration Adam, I know there's a few threads on here with sites like those you want but unless travel is no problem for you a rough location from you would help too.
