Just ordered an EeePC 1001PX - 10" LED screen, 6-cell battery, Intel Atom 450, 250GB hard drive, and 2GB RAM. Windows 7 Starter included....

I'm toying with the idea of putting Linux on it, and just wondering what anyone else might be using, including apps? I'd like to use it (on the move) for Web design, very basic photo stuff, documentation, reading PDF's etc. I realize its limited by its size/power...
 
Easisest thing to do is just report it and not keep posting and bumping the threads. I've reported him/her BTW...
 
The threads were already at the top so not actually bumped in the real sense of the word. I thought it was importnt that the OP's knew the advice was not independant but thanks for reporting him, that was going to be my next step.
