Is there anyone else that does Astro photography on here?

Be good to chat and share experiences.

I've done a little bit, but not for a while now. Started off with the moon, which I guess most people do, did a few star trails by stacking multiple exposures, and even had a go at the Orion Nebula.

If I can ever find the time to set the scope up properly so that it's tracking as true as I can get it without a guiding scope, I'd like to have a go at a few more DSO like the Andromeda galaxy and other nebula.

Andromeda's a pretty hard target, isn't it?

I haven't done any personally (can't afford it :( ) but i get some of the theory behind it.

Yep, a self confessed astro dabbler here too!! I love it and it's definately overtaken daytime photography as my hobby of choice.

You've got some cracking pics there Dave - Nice one
