Yes I know the balloon festival is there what I'd like to know is it free to go in as I've seen there are deer in there

Yes it's free although they recently introduced a small charge for the car park, not sure how much but it's minimal. The large house is a good prospect (outside only), gardens, trees, 2 x deer areas, though they do move the deer around a bit.

It's £1 all day!

As Gramps says its £1 all day, its best to get there early as the deer are next to the car park early in the morning and move through the field towards the back end of the estate throughout the morning.

The good thing about it is that the deer are used to people and you can get quite close to them being safe obviously!

You've also got the mantion and gardens there which are nice, so its well a worth a visit.
