I've been looking at having a couple of photo books done for the in-laws ruby wedding anniversary. I have looked at the recommendations on here but stumbled across the fact that Asda do them. Anyone any experiance of Asdas product?

No experience of the Asda ones, but the Photobox ones are good. They did have a 2 for 1 offer but it's finished now - perhaps they'll do it again soon.

asda. cheaper than chips... dev a 35mm film 36 exp and scan to CD you get change from £2.50 !!??:woot:

I've just had a better look at the asda books and they dont offer a big selection of page layouts or other stuff like cover colour options. I'll probably go with the photobox product.

if they do a full page option then you can always make your own layout in PS or similar and then save them as one large image to be printed per page?

The ones from snapfish (i use it through jessops and collect from local store) are not too bad and they are doing 25% off at the moment, had a couple done of holiday snaps and they came out great. I wouldn't recommend them the likes of a wedding album but as a snapshot album they are superb

Hi,

I've tried several for my recent wedding/honeymoon photos so I'm very "picky" - Photobox are not too good, poor "silky" paper, not sure about Asda but had prints done there in the past & never been impressed.

The best I've found are "Bonusprint" - good quality, glossy paper, I'd recommend them - software isn't the best but not too bad
