As the cloud continues...

A work colleague is supposed to be back at work tomorrow but he's currently stuck in Florida, lucky [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER]. ;)

Yeah very lucky, although I saw this family on the news who were stranded (can't remember where) but was all booked seperate so had to pay for a hotel, only one left was expensive and costing them £300 per night.

I was taking calls all day yesterday from customers who should have been flying, suprisingly they took it quite well and they all managed to get something resolved with their holiday. The ones that are going in the next week are just playing the waiting game.

I'm probably going to be stuck in florida, am due back Wednesday but it's looking less likely by the day. I have friends stranded in Corfu, they split up and one couple got as far as Genevea and the other couple are stuck in Nice! I think I'll stay put, the villa is nice, the pool is heated and the weather is ok. We have already spent virtually all our money though.

A friend was meant to be going to Goa on Thursday for a week, don't think she's going now as its a 10 hour flight.

There is about 50 students at my school stuck in New York possibly till next Thursday... They are being put up in a 4* hotel in New York for free, and have possibly an extra weeks holiday (supposed to come back this Thursday)

that's reportedly the engine of a Finish f-18, don't think he should have been flying through the cloud!

my brother's stuck in hong kong, every time i've spoken to him he's been sat in a bar, fortunately his work (naught american bank) gave him a card to take with him!
