I have been searching for a channel that may invite submissions for those of us who love to get creative with our editing but I've not been able to see anything here. Is there such a channel?
With powerful software around these days, merging photography with artistic expression is great for the mind and extracting creativity.

There's no 'standard' you need to meet - just post your pictures for critique if you want to grow and develop, or in photos for pleasure if you prefer not to have them analysed.

Welcome to TP.
nks @sirch I think this forum may be out of my league. It looks like my photography and editing may not be up to the standard that it seem is required here. I was nice t visit, thanks.

Cheers Toni. I'll keep looking around and see if I am a good fit here. I hope I have something to offer but in saying that, I am an oldie and grew up in the sixties :)

Nearly everything I post photography wise is in that "creative photography" forum. I'm also a sixties child. Age is certainly no barrier. The only thing that IS a barrier to participation is the one you seem to be putting up yourself - please, just open a thread in the https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/photos-creative-photography.112/ creative section, give it a title expressing what you're trying to do - and feel free to mention that it's your first post and maybe you're feeling a little insecure / intimidated by some of the quality work you've seen - but that you want to improve - and that you know that the only way to do so is to post your work, get critique on it and learn from the critique.

The reason I say post in the creative section, is that by definition most people posting there are perhaps more open to understanding or embracing a newcomers aspirations in their work.

Give it a try, i'm now really looking forward to seeing something from you...

Hi @Isac

Not sure if this helps.. Give it a go, it took me a while to over come my fear of joining up and posting, no one bites ;)

I've learnt a lot here and seeing other peoples work has openned my eyes, I look forward to seeing your work :)

Thanks all for your advice and comments, it's appreciated. I've been a photographer for many years - really love bird photography - but now retired. I'm enjoying the fun and creative side of Photoshop. I'm always learning something new which is a joy and I always love to pass on my knowledge, so I will have a bash and post a few images. Cheers all.

I've just looked at you gallery and you have some great work in there, I think we could learn a thing or two from you.

It's nice that you took a peak! many thanks for your kind words. I've been at it for many years and I hope I can help someone at some time :)
Thanks Gav - much appreciated. So much to share and so little time.
