My Canon 100-400mm + 1.4 Extender arrived today!!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait till start testing it.......many thanks to all who directed me

Still no sign of my 200-400mm Nikon. Not impressed. Nikon really do need to get their act together.
Been about a month now and no date for delivery still. I envy you.....

Been told that there isn't a single lens sat on a shelf in Europe and that all the pro's are buying them up for The Olympics. Not sure I believe that, but getting well fed up now. I've even emailed someone asking if he will sell me his 1yr old lens.
To be honest, even Kerso said he didn't know how long delivery would be either.
Its an expensive lump of glass, so I need to make sure I have full Nikon UK cover on it also.

Looking like a nice weekend Migs, hope you enjoy using your lens.

Hmm, what body are you using the 100-400 on? I tried a 1.4x with my 5D and it refused to AF Ended up leaving the 1.4 TC in the shop and leaving with a 17-40

I am using the 40D.......It happened to me as well but looking at the manual I found out that it only works on "Manual Focus"
