Got myself a failing hard disk the one I keep all my pics on, I have managed to get the PC to see it again and its transferring all the photos to my other disk but it says 30 mins remaining for the 130gb of data.............now 27mins
 
I know the feeling - The suspense is agonising :)
 
its stuck at 26 mins .......still downloading but .........arghhhh
 
Ok whats happend the suspence is killing us!!!!!
 
This thread has been enthralling. I actually wet my pants. :)
 
got them all onto the big drive and trying to format the old one............seems the psu was at fault or the molex, bad connection but all is well

So far but to save it all properly as this drive is full of junk and god knows what I have to save the pics to another drive then do a low level format on this one so its a virgin drive then reinstall windows and do a day of updates and sp2 to use CS ..........blah blah ....... seriously looking at building another PC as this one is becoming unstable now, after 7 yrs and numerous upgrades
 
Geez.. I have to pick the one who must be obeyed up......the room looks like a grenade has gone off............see you all in about an hr if she hasnt killed me
