argh!!! why cant i zoom my SB800 in manual mode?

right my sb800 is set on manual mode.
ISO100 F8 1/2 power these can be changed...but dam if i can changed the zoom head. i have canceled the auto zoom head fucntion so i can zoom them in manual when i use them off cam...but when pressing the the bloody lil tree logos nothing happens and it stays are 14mm.

any ideas....Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt ??? lol

Sounds like the wide angle diffuser to me :shrug:

i think that wide angle diffuser locks head at 17mm whilst the diffusion dome locks it at 14mm.

hmm. On the SB600 the little flip out wide angle diffuser changes the zoom length to 14mm, but the 800 might be different
