Erm, bit confused over numbers, etc.

Can you clarify how much shooting time you actually get for a full day place - is that shared with other photographers, any one on one time? etc.

With 2 models and 8 full day shooters, at best that's 2 hours shooting each which surely is shared with the hourly rate guys as well?

If you come all day, then you will have opportunities to be able to shoot at many times through the day. You can also shoot outdoors with Model#1 when Model#2 is indoors etc. You will also have a day socialising with several other tP'ers.

There will be one on one time for photographers most certainly...

It is difficult I appreciate, but please understand that it's only a guide price that's been suggested. The day rate could go up or down, as could the hourly rate too!! I will amend the prices according to the ratio of daily and hourly committed attendees. I am not doing this for profit, and am taking nothing myself and I most certainly want to be as fair as I can to all those attending.
 
I'm not concerned about the cost but just trying to understand how the shooting schedule would work and how much time you'd realistically get working one one one with a model and being able to vary the lighting, etc. either as an all day shooter or as an hourly one.
 
Aha... Okies I see.

I will compile a shooting schedule in Excel the look of which will depend on how many people we get wanting to come for the day v's those wanting to attend for a particular hour.

Hmm... thats too soon for me, 214miles, so im up for it, but, i only take my test on Dec13th and dont really want to travel all that way 2 days later in my Mini, a date in Jan and ill have my New car and a little more motorway experiance under my belt.

Do you mean female models wearing erm.... not alot?

Why sorry...? No need to apologise...!!

They will be wearing a selection of outfits, or not a selection of outfits up to implied nude, and will pose as you want them to pose.
 
Guys, im interested.. Has there been a time and date fixed??

Im comming from London and id be more than happy to pick up some stragglers along the way.. :thumbs:
 
Nothing fixed as yet, still need more people to confirm attendance for Saturday 15th Dec, I can then confirm the booking of the models and studio.

Every Saturday Ouch, however, im sure youll get plenty of willing volunteers off here that would model for you any time you wanted...

As for myself attending, I cannot commit to the 15th December yet, I will definitely know either way on the 13th, but thats a little short notice. :(
 
If the studio was in Maidstone, Kent (or near abouts) I would be very interested...

i would be unable to attend for a full day but would potentially take a couple of hours in the morning at the start of the day.

I work in retail, working saturdays is in my job description! :p But i do get occasional saturdays off....but :shrug: what can I do 'eh!

Who are the definites and current costs? (Apologies if I've missed any posts with the info.)
 
I need the definites before I can announce final costs. Likely to be in the region of £50-£70 for an all day session and between £20-£30 per 1.5 hour session. All entirely depends on how many we have able to commit for the day. I am paying out for the models from my own pocket and before I do, I obviously need to know who will be there... :)

I'm sure you understand.

At the moment I am out of the UK for the rest of this week, but will hopefully put the final details up before the weekend.

Sounds like a good plan, id be happier with a Manchester/Leeds kinda event rather than a 200mile+ trip down south.

Problem is it would need an organiser up here; someone who knows of suitable studios and models for hire. Anyone out there game to take this on?

I am traveling to Poland today and Denmark tomorrow, but can get messages. If we have enough by tomorrow evening, I will contact the models and pay their fee in advance. Then I'll set up a PayPal product so you can send me your money for the day.

So: please act if you want this to happen.
