are kumho tyres any good?

My previous car was the saloon version of what I have now and was on 19s - a far better ride, even if handling/roadholding at higher speeds may not have been so good. Had a courtesy car (same model, lower spec) that was on 18s and that was even better (but didn't look as good!)
