Are Big macs smaller these days ?

Was enjoying a big mac the other day and it seemed to last no time at all...going back 10-15years they seemed to be quite a bit larger and more filling

Is there anything in this ie are the sly buggers charging us more for less or am i just greedier these days :D

Depends on how old you are. If you were only 5 or 6 15 years ago they probably seemed huge back then :lol:
 
I always thought the same of my memories of Wagon Wheels and Mars bars as a kid....

I put it down to my hands being smaller then but a product that looked the same so appeared smaller in larger hands when older.....
 
Never eat maccy-Ds...pure filth - Burglar-King at least make an effort to make it look and taste like meat you can identify...
I mean it's all shredded lips and a-holes, but c'mon...make an effort...
Double Whoppers with cheese are the only FF burger I can stomach TBH - I'll eat maybe three a year...when I'm desperate...
 
Hey, what's wrong with shredded lips and a-holes? Tastes good to me :p .... at least the ones that come in a bun :lol: ... and tastes a lot better than the other type that comes plastered with make-up ;)

As for the Big Mac, and the Q posted by the OP, I just think you've gotten bigger yourself .. hence why you see them getting smaller! It's all relative :lol:
 
I stick to the fish burgers at least they resemble fish, although last time I had one it did look a fair bit smaller than the roll it was in. I don't often eat there so it could have just been me feeling more hungry than usual and disappointed with the size of it :lol:
 
Size doesn't matter! !! !!!

Always remember, what matters isn't the size of the wave, but the motion of the ocean ;)
 
Rusks too, they used to be hooooge now they are tiny too. I am with you on the Big Mac shrinking.
 
Big Mac's are smaller, then a couple of years. Used to have one quite regularly as there werent much else available if i had forgotten to pack enough food, or got called out to work late. Had one a couple of months back and thought she had given me a kids meal.

Only thing worth getting now is a large stawberry milk shake.
 
Dont know about the Big Macs - dont eat them, but I do agree that Wagon Wheels are smaller these days as someone has already pointed out.

If you want a decent burger, go grab one of Micks Monster Burgers up on Portsdown Hill overlooking Portsmouth.
 
If you want a real, man sized burger, get to Capn. Jasper's in Plymouth!
 
Yankie BKs are the best... they do a Triple Whopper meal on the RAF base I am privileged enough to be able to access... it's only about $8, and I, nicknamed 'the dustbin' struggle to finish it all!
 
Putting it another way... I wonder if a quarter pounder still weighs a quarter of a pound?

But I still say wagon wheels are smaller! :)

I had a triple whopper in Skipton the other week :p
 
They removed all the rubbish from their foods apparently, so of course they are smaller. I am quite surprised there is anything left actually ;)
