Just lock the door and leave it. A few weeks later there'll be just one very big spider.

See, I don't get his problem with this one. ..that's like the beggar in my shed
I think he's just being a bit of a girl

Jeez I hate the small ones, that size and I'd move out :help::exit:

Nah I don't mind spiders :-)

Moths on the other hand.... :runaway:

I'm guessing you never took part in "moth night" then?
They were asking people to count the moths in their gardens by laying out attractants, it seems that rope soaked in beer
or laced with tobacco works best.

It also seems they were particularly interested in the "death head" type, with a wing span of circa 5" ( thats around 125 mm in new money )
I would suggest at that size, its capable of nicking fags out the packet and getting its own beer out the fridge.
Even moths like a good night out

Some right Jessie's on here, love spiders myself always pick them up and let them go outside, some big ones trying to seek refuge from the weather indoors now.
Only things I don't like are woodlice,or as I call them miniature armadillos

I leave mine to snuggle down in the house, they eat other insects including "Armadillos"
As long as they don't raid the fridge they are welcome to stay

No. If I'd have taken part there would have been considerably less moths out there!

We get Hummingbird Moths here...great big barstewards that you can hear flying when they come inside. Their wingspan isn't as large as the deaths head, but the body! !!

Oooh they are quite cute, but if the spiders are feeding on them that explains why they get so damn big (y)

I think they'd take the spiders out back and give them a good kickin'

No, that's not how it works at all :p

And I thought my shed was bad.

Lots and lots of spiders.
Nah, that's not a lot of spiders.

This is a lot of spiders.

A couple of highlights:

"The most distinctive manifestation of the spider population.... was the enormous mat of webbing that obscured about 70% of the ceiling.... a mostly unbroken expanse of relatively dense silk that covered a total area of about 8731 sq metres."

"Total numbers of spiders were estimated as 107.2 million."
