Is it just me or is this guide fairly pointless and basic??

I usuallyfind AP's stuff pretty in depth but this article is very weak, hope they improve it for other cameras or more people will be disappointed.:(

I have not got a 40d but I skimmed over the article & I am inclined to agree with you.

THAT good eh??

yeah i have to agree with you there my nine year old son could have given more info!!!!!!

I'm getting pretty fed up with a lot of magazine articles. A lot of them make grand statements and promises on the front and then the article turns out to be a re-wording of the camera's manual

What magazine is AP?

Its ok Joe. I will be thinking of a suitable punishment!! ;)

It reallly struck me as solely an article for someone wishing to buy one......NOT for people who already have them. All those things are in the manual which us girls have already read of course! ;)

Ahhh right I have never seen that one in the shops only practical photography and digital photography.
Can you get it in normal newsagents or only online?

I bought it in Tesco's today, Nicola.

Yep, thought the same. I swear it was written for my 10 year old nephew lol

Sounds like me, Joe!

Didn't know you'd been updated Janice

The article was rubbish. I don't normally buy AP but when I saw the headline cover story I thought OK. You'd get the same info just from reading the flippin' manual.

The free Jacobs catalogue was more interesting!
