Hello,

Can you please recommend some internet shops when I can buy APS films?
I just bought my first APS camera and can't wait to start shooting :)

Thanks,

Sebastian

Sorry Sebastion can't help.

As this thread is APS related perhaps there is someone here who would like a little Nikon APS SLR with a couple of lenses. I'll send it to who ever wants it and trust them to send me the postage at cost.
Sorry to Hi jack the thread but it gives it a bump.

I saw a few the other day in our local charity shop for, if I remember right, 1.50 quids...

Do anyone still d&p them, though?

First google came up with these

And I'm sure the local Asda were knocking the films out at 2 for a fiver...

7Dayshop had some last time i looked im sure, Club35 Dev APS too, as did my local tesco before they removed the film processing.

Yes club35 definitely develop them as I was looking at them for 2 APS films I have here from my old IXUS.

You can have it. PM me your adress and I'll send it. Cost for sending it would be probably no more than a fiver.

One day I bought one lot of 50 films... 25 of them are APS... I never used them... lol

If this is OK to the forum I could give you more details by PM, since I never thought selling them anywhere...

Pm me more details:)

To stay on the straight and narrow one of you needs to do an advert in wanted/for sale just to keep it all above board as buying and selling outside of that area will get you told off.

My dad has being buying bags of 5 in boots i think. They still have some film stocks of varying types, if a little expensive!

Why I love the F&C section of this forum! Superb generosity there. :)

Sorry!

Off to Wanted section

I know its been mentioned but I was in Boots at lunchtime and they had a range of APS films, own brand and kodak IIRC.

Send me the link from your Wanted post, since I can't find it :) Then I'll tell you more details about the films etc...

looks like I'm joining the club. spotted an aps camera I've wanted for some time - minolta vectis 300 metal body and very, very small .

Sebastion, hope you have received the Nykon.

Keep on Shootin'!

Pronea arrived safe yesterday. Thank you :)
I will produce at lease one roll of APS film before weekend. I think it will work with my other Nikon lenses!
I have tested it with Sigma 24-70 and it works fine - great surprise.

how many places still dev it ?
e.g. - if the place does 135 format how big are the chances that they'll do aps ?

just go me a Canon Ixus (with a Trip and Kodak Bantom) for £4 :-)

so I'm after some APS now too :-)

As Robert has previously posted, we at Photo Express still sell and develop APS film. We are also finding that as the likes of Tesco drop out of film processing our film volumes of 35mm and APS are increasing. For anyone with lots of already developed APS films that you want digitizing we scan them to CD for just £2.50 per film, regardless of film length.

can you develop APS at home ?

Mathers have some Fuji Nexia 200-40 for sales at £1.95 per per film.

It looks like APS film is now getting very hard to find. Does anyone know a good place which still has stock ? 7DayShop have their last lot of Kodak APS film listed, and they state that Kodak are discontinuing manufacture. Boots have sold out of Fuji APS, and are supposedly not replenishing their Fuji stock.
I have just had an APS film developed and returned from Doubleprint/Bonusprint, and there is no free APS film returned with my order.
Looking at this thread I will try and contact the Hull firm mentioned above, hoping that they may have stock.
But if anyone has information/ suggestions, please post.
Thanks.

I have a great little APS camera, the original Canon IXUS. The cost of the film and developing put me off though!

I have the Minolta Vectis S1 with 3 lenses, and they are an ideal handy camera. Only bought it 2 months back. I have used Doubleprint/Bonusprint for developing -£4-99 for 25 shots; £5-99 for 40 shots. However, a film returned this morning does not have the free film inside, andI am wondering if APS is now hard to come by. Got 3 APS last week off ebay, but outdated. It was the Kodak High Definition film. Use one of those in 35mm about 6 years back and there was a noticeable difference, for the better, in the High Definition film. That seemed to vanish quickly.

To my knowledge Fuji and Agfa both still manufacture APS although I have yet to actually find any of the Agfa film for sale, its still listed on their site though.

s162216, I will have a search re Agfa APS film and hopefully turn some up.Bonusprint/Doubleprint still develop APS for the prices I quote above, but they can no longer supply or sell APS as they are out of stock.
I bought 3x Kodak High Definition APS from ebay - West End Cameras. It was expired, but no date as the canisters were not in cartons. Used it and had it developed this week. No problem at all, all shots were fine.
I also used Photo Express at Hull,(their details shown in post above). Cost £5-99 per film, and that includes return post. Sent Wed., and returned this am, Sat.
