Wouldn't surprise me, took about a week before we were asked to order 25 iPads :lol:

needless to say we bought one so people could test them and now some dont like it so its been scrapped :lol:
 
The iPad doesn't get a student discount so the 11" MBA will be closer to the price. I do get a fixed percentage discount off anything at Apple :) but the student discount normally beats it anyway. It is quite likely that we might both get a 11" MBA, it would be brilliant for tethered shooting. Just need a bracket to attach it to the tripod.

£999 for 128Gb

13" (with 1.86Ghz processor) is

£1099 for 64Gb

I work for a very large accountancy firm in London and they are just about to pull the trigger on iPhone 4's and iPads over Blackberrys.

Never used my discount yet as the things i get its not on :lol:

and the things its on I get from work anyway (MacBook Pro) and so on

I will use it one day, hopefully not one day soon....

I do wish this country was cheaper! Even with sales tax the 13inch base model is £200 less in the US. Buy two and it's cheaper to fly to NYC to get them!
 
13"/128 gig flash with 4 gigs memory = £1179. That'll do nicely.

Don't see the point in the 256 gig flash version. If you want more than 128 then you'll probably be using external or cloud memory anyway.

Anyone want a battered and scratched 13" white macbook?

I see that AppleCare is a little steep at £199. May wait to buy it from egay later.
