Can anyone tell me is the display on the 27 inch Imac is the same display as their Thunderbolt display. If not then what are the main differences?

In what way Neil? I have a 27" Imac coming and thought that although not the best that it was pretty decent, although this is my first Imac so looking for some basic answers.

I was referring to the external thunderbolt display in your first post. Flickering display, failing rear ports etc. We have a high 80% issue rate and is why we now buy dell 27s instead.

Other than possibly the panel I imagine the hardware is different.

Wow! That's pretty shabby of Apple, especially considering the high cost of the 27" thunderbolt display.

yup, seems there are/were known problems with the logic board.

dell 27 ultrasharps from now on, cheaper too.
