I would laugh like a drain if I got that :) I was always a wee bit suspicious of Apple Pay and the constant nagging to set it up just made me more determined not to set it up

Apple Pay is much safer than using your card. At no point in the transaction are your card details used.
 
I get them all the time, always block the number but they just come back with a different one.
 
the key here is to look at the DNS name not the body of the message.
reauthenticate-wallet.com is where you are actually heading which according to whois.com

1000 big red flashing warning signs there and nothing at all to suggest it might be authentic. Most of us get tens or hundreds of similar per day. Report, delete and move on.

yes but understanding and then hitting delete rather than just hitting delete is allways better.

I've had stuff like this over the years and I've never owned an Apple product :D It's sad that enough people will bite to make it very worthwhile and profitable.
 
Never tried to in apples, shops round here prefer cash.;)
